Auke Lake Preschool LLC proudly reopened in 2023 under new ownership, continuing its legacy of serving Juneau’s families with high-quality, licensed childcare. We care for children from six weeks to ten years old, providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn, grow, and thrive.

As a homegrown, family-owned and operated business, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community. Our team understands the value of dependable, trustworthy care and the lasting impact it has on families and future generations. We believe in building strong, respectful relationships with each family we serve—fostering a sense of belonging, trust, and collaboration.

We operate as a center-based program located within the Education Wing of Chapel by the Lake, on the main campus of the University of Alaska Southeast. Our facility can accommodate up to 60 children across five thoughtfully designed classrooms, each tailored to meet the developmental needs of different age groups.

Our mission is to provide more than just care—we strive to create a supportive and wholesome environment that benefits both children and their families. Through structured routines, age-appropriate curriculum, and compassionate guidance, we work to nurture every child’s emotional, cognitive, and social development while partnering with families every step of the way.
